Why Naturopathic Medicine?
With Naturopathic Medicine, there is the belief that the body has the innate ability to heal itself as long as the right conditions are made available. The role of the doctor is to remove any obstacles that may be in the way of the body performing this function. Modalities used for treatment are designed to be as natural, gentle, and minimally invasive as possible. Pharmaceutical drugs and aggressive therapies are considered as a last resort. This means that the first tools deployed include: botanical therapies, homeopathy, nutritional counseling, lifestyle modifications, stress management, supplementation, and functional lab analysis. By addressing the fundamental things that give us all life (water, food, air, rest, play), it is possible to restore balance to the body and discover optimal health.
Why Virtual Telemedicine?
For most Americans today, life is constantly on the go, leaving very little time for rest and play. Scheduling an appointment with your doctor usually means taking time off of work, battling with traffic, missing lunch, and sitting in busy waiting rooms. If you’re a parent, there is the added stress of figuring out what to do with your kids. In addition to this, finding a Naturopathic Doctor in your area can be challenging. With virtual medicine the headache of all of this is removed. You can attend your doctor appointment from the comfort of your home, office, car, or favorite outdoor setting.
New Patients Please Read Before Booking
Make sure you have read the appointment information above before booking an appointment. Please book your appointment at least 72 hours out so there is sufficient time to sign the necessary consent forms and fill out the new patient paperwork. All forms must be completed at least 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. If paperwork is not submitted in time, it will result in the cancellation of your appointment. All appointments must be cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. Failure to do so will result in you being charged 50% of the cost of the appointment.
In addition, Dr. Wester only works with adults above the age of 18. Children require special considerations beyond her expertise, and would be better served by a pediatric physician.
